Description: A program to estimate the cost-effectiveness of machinery and tool inventory. The first version of Tailor was presented at the 2002 Metal Processing Exhibition. Current users include:

• the MPO-Rumyantsev Joint stock company;
• JSC "Ryazan Machine Tool Plant";
• GAZ - Gorkov Car Company;
• IzhMashAvto - Izhevsk Car Company;
• Rostselmash;

Tailor

• estimates the cost of machinery per hour by analyzing variables such as machinery specifications, equipment cost, deprecation rates or desired payback period, wages, tax load, etc.;
• evaluates the effectiveness of processing technology, by analyzing variables such as tools cost and durability, prime and auxiliary time, cost and possible regrinding requirements, and then chooses the most efficient one;
• creates a machinery and tools database, including all estimates.

We developed this software together with "Technopolice" engineering center.
