NTR / Tomsk kicks back with a paintball party
August, 2006After a tough workweek, when you just want to let your hair down and relax, nothing does it like a paintball picnic.

Natalya’s armed to the teeth!
Game, maybe, but we tend to play as hard as we work, so it’s camouflage, weapons and masks, no messing around on that score. But it’s also meat for shashlyks, veggies for the grill, wine, beer, fruit, dessert and insect repellent to keep us from being lunch for the mosquitoes! Then we hiked in and found a hidden spot in which to camp.

Delicatessens from the chef / chief!
We had a bit turnout, so we split into two groups - one to play while the other set up camp and started the cooking and then we swapped roles.

Fighting tooth and nail.

We’re one again!
Running around getting paintballed is hard work; as we tired we kicked back, drank mulled wine, ate great food (always tastes better in that situation) and talked about everything.

Fooling around.
We ended a day of shooting, chatting, laughing and eating, with live guitar music and a group sing-along.

Director’s happy smile
On the way home, deep in the dark, contentment reigned and everyone felt happy.
Here are more pictures of our grand outing, for you to enjoy and to trigger fond memories in those of who were there.

It’s not always about the internet.

Can you recognize any of them?

Just a little bit bl… paint
