Registry Keeping Subsystem

Task
Develop a subsystem for automating management of dedicated budget funds and budget recepients

Solution: A system to automate procurement planning for Moscow’s chief budget administrators and direct budgetary funds recipients.

The goal was a system for efficient information collection, indexing and summarizing in order to plan municipal procurement based on the corresponding resolutions of the Moscow city government; the design allowed for changes in the underlying processes and standards (reference materials and classifiers).

The project adheres to strict fault-tolerance requirements and includes system design, implementation, staff training, hotline consultations and system maintenance.

The system

  • updates and modifies electronic reference data;
  • collects budgetary requests from subordinate organizations;
  • allows entering the account data in both automated and manual modes;
  • recalculates, totals and rounds the data automatically; and
  • automatically processes it in the given formats.

The work with electronic documents is based on .NTR technology.

Website maintenance, enhancement and redesign

Client: Large asset management company — a subsidiary of Allianz

 



Description: The goal of the redesign was to improve quality and usability of the client services area. Accomplishing this required substantial changes to the existing website, including better navigation and improved information handling. The changes allow all site visitors to get timely analytical information on the asset management market and early access to new offers.

Working together, our developers and designers added new client services enabling visitors to track changes in the cost of shares and calculate the profitability of various investment strategies for designated periods; free subscriptions to weekly and monthly analyst reports and reviews on Allianz’ union investment trusts; a User console that provides real-time information on ROI and the ability to act immediately on market change (launch Q1, 2008)

A yacht was chosen as the main design element, because it reflects the fast development pace of the company and emphasizes its innovative approach to using financial instruments.

Public opinion research system

Client: VFluence, Inc.

Description: The system saves and catalogues the primary data from Internet public opinion research.
A user enters words of interest into an Excel table and the system automatically adds synonyms, typical search queries and key words. The user then enters new words or deletes unnecessary ones and the system initiates a new search. Information is saved in databases; the system moderates it finding similar or identical resources based on URL and key word moderation algorithms. Server agents work with the following search engines and web-services: Google AdWords, Wordtracker and KeywordDiscovery.

A system for automated cost estimation for renovation of buildings and rooms

Client: Clear Estimates, Inc.

Description: The program automates estimating and proposals for projects to renovate and reconstruct various types of buildings, offices and rooms. A special feature of the program is the detailed ergonomics of the user interface. The wide functionality of the program includes CRM function, project change management, and program parameters setting. Status: Packaged product, new version in development

Task
Develop an automated system for use by the treasurer, executive, senior and other-level budget administrators and budget recipients of various financial departments in the Moscow City Government.
Description:
Electronic documents are formed using templates that include a full description of the document (printing and screen, export, field verifications rules). Templates enable the introduction of additional documents into the process without installing new versions of the software.
The module also enables:

  • Manual adding of documents participating in information exchange internally and with related information systems of the system;
  • Control accuracy of the information entered based on service documents;
  • Exchanging electronic documents:
    • Internally, between modules of the system; and
    • related information systems;
  • Cryptographic protection of the data exchanged within the system;
  • remote administration of the module including updating software versions and service documents;

Description: Developed a special call center application for handling reception business processes; this application allows to:

  • handle calls and faxes;
  • administer travel reservations;
  • create reminders for visa and passport support services and organization of VIP reception;

  • write a diary of daily events to ensure process continuity.
