POIdo is a pay-per-action location-based advertising (LBA) platform providing ads targeted to users’ precise location, context and behavior in applications on mobile phones and internet sites.
POIdo launched in Moscow on March 16, 2010.
Winner of the StartupPoint contest at the Russian Internet Forum 2010.

Description:
POIdo is the world’s first LBA platform that creates a competitive marketplace where the price of advertising is determined by the market (advertisers compete for ad visibility).
POIdo is the world’s first LBA platform where virtual billboards can be placed at optimal locations, not just the business location. The user sees the ad message within the application in use when approaching a virtual billboard or as a result of searching for a nearby address.
POIdo provides API for both advertisers and publishers, allowing development of innovative applications with location-aware monetization/advertising built in.

Add multiple language support to existing ASP.NET website

Task: Add multilingual support on the existing ASP.NET website allowing users to select website language via dropdown menu on the main page.

Solution:
Reviewed existing website code and developed a multilanguage support addition approach by moving all site text and images (with texts) to the resources area for both the desktop and mobile versions of the web site, as well as the admin area as required. Added language selection interfaces for both desktop and mobile sites; modified the database as needed and added pages to manage languages.
Additional work included bug fixing, GUI forms layout adjustments for desktop and mobile site, enhancements for user registration procedure, etc.

Android QR Code scanning terminal & web

Task: To develop a web component that generates a QRCode (two-dimensional bar code) and an Android component that recognizes the codes on devices and passes information using soap calls to the server

Solution: Developed an Android application that reads QR Code, decrypts the information and passes it to the web service in real-time using a basic ASP.NET test page. The test page requests data and generates a QR Code, in which the information is encrypted. The Android application reads the QR Code, decrypts and validates the information, then uploads it to the web. The Android application has a password protected setup option for administrators that allows them to configure the phone for specific QR code scanning. The app includes statistics showing the activity of QR Code uploaded to the web and the total of QR Codes scanned by terminals and other details.

Electronic Document Management System DocsMaster

DocsMaster was created and developed by NTR Group; PNTN is a document storage system integrated into DocsMaster and is improved and supported by NTR Group.

Purpose: allows structured, web-based storage of large numbers of documents.

Main functionality:

  • Structuring documents by customizable metadata;
  • Search by metadata;
  • Associates images with documents and allows manipulation of the images;
  • Accounts and access management.

Call Campaign Dialer

Idea and design were provided by IT MAX Group, LLC; modeling and implementation were performed by NTR Group.
This project supports creating and processing of special dialing campaigns. It facilitates call list creation, dials the call and includes the ability to transfer the call to an operator.

Purpose: it can be used in various ways, including telemarketing and expired credit card reminders.

Main functionality:

  • Web-based managing and tracking of campaigns and their status.
  • Support of wave and text phrase input (for audio messages).
  • Export/import call lists.
  • Call Center operator’s workplace: start/stop conversation and tracking call status.

IVR system

Idea and design were provided by IT MAX Group, LLC; modeling and implementation were performed by NTR Group.

Task

Automated call answering, voice and dial-tone navigation, payment processing.

Main functionality:

  • Receiving and processing calls and payments.
  • Managing voice texts in both wave and text formats.
  • Support of transferring to call center in compliance with business hours.
  • Web-based administration module.

FluEase Operations Manager

IT MAX Group, LLC, in collaboration with NTR Lab developed a web-based solution that provides the means of processing different types of payments and enables paperless document delivery from all points of service to the main office. The main office personnel are able to view documents by point of service or view all documents.
The idea and design were provided by IT MAX Group, LLC; modeling and implementation were performed by NTR Lab.

Renaissance Insurance Intranet

Project: Intranet for the Renessans Strakhovaniye / Renaissance Insurance Company.


Customer
Renessans Strakhovaniye a leading company in Russia’s modern insurance market.
Renessans Strakhovaniye has an A++ rating, the highest possible, from Expert RA, a national rating agency assuring its financial stability and solvency.
Renessans Strakhovaniye is licensed for all types of insurance and offers clients a full range of products backed by more than 10 years of experience in the Russian market.

Task
The initial idea was to develop a modern corporate portal, which transformed into the development of full a corporate intranet, in accordance with the design concept proposed by the Design Bureau Artem Gorbunov and with the full support of Renessans Strakhovaniye’s HR unit.

Solution
The intranet is integrated with multiple in-house information systems, including personnel, documents, information guides, and implements the majority of the functions specific to corporate portals.

Major competitive advantages from the new intranet include

  • a new, integrated telephone directory combined with the other information that helped the company streamline the data on the administrative structure and various units of Gruppa Renessans Strakhovaniye / Renaissance Insurance Group LLC;
  • simplifying and assisting new employees in learning the company;
  • organizing and improving accessibility of corporate information, including current internal projects, competitions, career opportunities, etc.; and
  • facilitating efficient communications between management and staff.

Technologies
A separate portal platform (portlets, integration elements, etc.) was developed for the project based on ASP.NET/MS SQL. The portal platform provides better usability and target functionality than the standard implementation of MS Sharepoint.

Project: Implementation of the “Web-Praktika: Sale of Policies” (“Autodealer”) system in the company “Zurich. Retail”

“Zurich. Retail” is a part of the Zurich Group, offering financial solutions in the field of insurance services through the global net of offices and subdivisions. The Group was founded in 1872 and is managed from its headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland.
 
Task
Provide an instrument for increasing the loyalty of dealers- juristic persons as well as the means of increasing sales of insurance policies in remote offices, including the salons of car dealers.
 
Solution
Implementation of the “Web-Praktika: Sale of Policies” (“Autodealer”) system for automatic issue of insurance polices in remote points of sale including the partner companies.
