Client: The Moscow City economic policy and development Department
Contractor: Project Management Administration "Economika"

Task
Develop an automated system for use by the treasurer, executive, senior and other-level budget administrators and budget recipients of various financial departments in the Moscow City Government.
Description:
Electronic documents are formed using templates that include a full description of the document (printing and screen, export, field verifications rules). Templates enable the introduction of additional documents into the process without installing new versions of the software.
The module also enables:

  • Manual adding of documents participating in information exchange internally and with related information systems of the system;
  • Control accuracy of the information entered based on service documents;
  • Exchanging electronic documents:
    • Internally, between modules of the system; and
    • related information systems;
  • Cryptographic protection of the data exchanged within the system;
  • remote administration of the module including updating software versions and service documents;
  • create, uploade and delete templates
  • create document printing forms
  • import data dictionaries

TDO: information system for an endodontal electronic medical office

Client: DogBreath Software Inc. — a leading developer of software for endodontists in the US.

Description: TDO is a sophisticated software comprised of several modules that seamlessly integrate the following into an easy-to-install, user-friendly program:

  • financial and clinical data;
  • digital and scanned radiographs; and
  • photographic and video images.

Additional features:

  • All the clinical x-rays, still and video images, patient chart and diagnostic data, referral communications, emails and phone calls received/sent, are saved and accessed intuitively from TDO.
  • It facilitates comminication with
    • patients through the case presentation and education modules;
    • referring doctors through the custom reports and letter modules;
    • endodontic colleagues through TDO chat and discussion groups;
    • insurance companies through emails; and
    • internally through the interoffice email.
  • A state-of-the-art library of digital images needed to educate the patient.

Application for surveying internal staff

Client: Stavka, a consulting company

Description: Survey tool for HR consulting company. It consists of a respondee interface and an admin interface for editing questionnaires and respondees’ answers.

Electronic document management system

Description: A system that oversees creation, storage, context search, and collaborative editing of various types of electronic documents, and is tightly integrated with Microsoft Office, so the user may edit documents straight from the system’s web interface. Functionality includes:

  • Storing documents in a single storage area with the ability to backup and restore;
  • logging all changes;
  • commenting;
  • tracking the documents life-cycle stages; and
  • access control for workgroups and users.

Medical appointment scheduler

Client: AMSPlus, Inc.

Description: Developed to streamline medical office work and improve patient care service. The scheduler manages personnel and office resources, including tracking doctors’ schedules, exam room availability and equipment usage, and graphs resources deployment. The program includes, centralized dictionaries (e.g. City and Referring Physician), client-specific dictionaries (e.g., Provider, Type of Visit), resource scheduling module, reports module, etc. It shares resources (dictionaries and data) and is fully integrated with AMSPlus’ existing product line. Status: maintenance mode

Sewing factory management system

Client: a Moscow sewing factory

Description: A business management system (BMS) that provides all users, executives through factory workers, with real-time data access of applicable company-wide functions.

Special challenges: A very tight budget and a client, with no BMS experience, unable to identify the scope of tasks to include in the project or provide viable project requirements information.

Working closely with all levels of management, NTR developers analyzed all existing business processes, in conjunction with company needs, and wrote the formal specifications for a comprehensive BMS that would

  • collect data from all departments in the company (finance, production, warehouse, etc., and all management levels);
  • solve remote-access challenges for buildings with no direct connection to the corporate office LAN; and then
  • apply the system from executive offices through factories.

The system has worked flawlessly since it went live in 2001.
