Dating websites Firefox extension

Task:
This tool is intended for a dating agent. It maintains a database of clients and monitors potential matches for each client on various dating websites.

Functionality:

• Maintain client database; activate or deactivate clients;
• Maintain database of to-be-monitored websites;
• Maintain response database: each response has text and color;
• Monitor websites for each client by providing client ID markers on the profile’s web page;
• Track whether a client’s response was answered (status) and remove if necessary;
• Display response (status) on the client’s page;
• Switch quickly between clients.
The tool is a Mozilla FireFox extension that stores all required data in the local SQLite database.

Technologies: Mozilla XUL, JavaScript, SQLite.

 

Subsystem to create automated accounts for budget recipients

Client: The Moscow City economic policy and development Department
Contractor: Project Management Administration "Economika"

Task
Develop an automated system for budget expenditures and budget recipients.

Solution
The subsystem provides for electronic document management, including creating, saving and exchanging documents internally and with related information systems; correlation checking and printing.
The subsystem also

  • Preserves a register of expenditure commitments;
  • Defines tasks for providing state service to budget administrators and recipients;
  • Creates budget financing targets;
  • Registers and distributs budgetary provisions, commitment limits, amount of financing of junior budget administrators and recipients;
  • Creates, registers and corrects budget estimate;

City dedicated programs registry subsystem

Client: The Moscow City economic policy and development Department
Contractor: Project Management Administration "Economika"

Task
Develop an automated system to implement, control and monitor dedicated programs, including a registry of the programs, contracting authorities and their activities.

Solution
The main functions of the dedicated program subsystem:

  • Collect initial data for a list of dedicated programs;
  • Record target codes and rates used for evaluation of implementation (projects and reports expertise);
  • Monitor programs;
  • Provide records of program activities for implementation;
  • Control program development, approval, financing and implementation;
  • Store historical records of budgets and financing and estimate future financial requirements;
  • Create a list of the city’s dedicated programs, including a draft budget for the next fiscal year, for submission to the Moscow City Duma;

Renaissance Insurance Intranet

Project: Intranet for the Renessans Strakhovaniye / Renaissance Insurance Company.


Customer
Renessans Strakhovaniye a leading company in Russia’s modern insurance market.
Renessans Strakhovaniye has an A++ rating, the highest possible, from Expert RA, a national rating agency assuring its financial stability and solvency.
Renessans Strakhovaniye is licensed for all types of insurance and offers clients a full range of products backed by more than 10 years of experience in the Russian market.

Task
The initial idea was to develop a modern corporate portal, which transformed into the development of full a corporate intranet, in accordance with the design concept proposed by the Design Bureau Artem Gorbunov and with the full support of Renessans Strakhovaniye’s HR unit.

Solution
The intranet is integrated with multiple in-house information systems, including personnel, documents, information guides, and implements the majority of the functions specific to corporate portals.

Major competitive advantages from the new intranet include

  • a new, integrated telephone directory combined with the other information that helped the company streamline the data on the administrative structure and various units of Gruppa Renessans Strakhovaniye / Renaissance Insurance Group LLC;
  • simplifying and assisting new employees in learning the company;
  • organizing and improving accessibility of corporate information, including current internal projects, competitions, career opportunities, etc.; and
  • facilitating efficient communications between management and staff.

Technologies
A separate portal platform (portlets, integration elements, etc.) was developed for the project based on ASP.NET/MS SQL. The portal platform provides better usability and target functionality than the standard implementation of MS Sharepoint.

PDA Survey tool

Task:
Develop a PDA tool for information transmission between field engineers and the home office.

Solution:
The tool saved engineers’ time while surveying in the field, as well as increasing their flexibility and efficiency.

Main functionality:
The user navigates using a menu button and job complete button.
• The menu button displays the names of the screens.
• The job complete button saves the data for attachment to an email.

The home office fills in various sections on a scrollable form (WIN32 Form) that saves in XML format and is sent by email to the engineer.

The engineer receives an email with the XML form attached; when clicked both the attachment and the program open displaying the job information.

The engineer adds information, saves it and sends it back as an email attachment.

Tax payment control system

Client: GUP ECONOMICA

Description: The system was developed by NTR Lab to support information interoperability between Moscow’s city government and its Federal Tax Service. The system

  • automates the reception of preliminary documents for tax revenues of the Economic Politics and Development Department;
  • processes the data and posts it as an information resource on the intranet;
  • creates and maintains an operating database of primary tax revenue information; and
  • analyzes tax revenues in the city budget.

Special system features include

  • template creation that enable users to build and modify various sets of required documents without updating software or changing the database scheme; and
  • reference data that can be edited (addition and modification of classifiers, dictionaries and other reference materials).

Registry Keeping Subsystem

Client: The Moscow City economic policy and development Department
Contractor: Project Management Administration "Economika"

Task
Develop a subsystem for automating management of dedicated budget funds and budget recepients

Solution: A system to automate procurement planning for Moscow’s chief budget administrators and direct budgetary funds recipients.

The goal was a system for efficient information collection, indexing and summarizing in order to plan municipal procurement based on the corresponding resolutions of the Moscow city government; the design allowed for changes in the underlying processes and standards (reference materials and classifiers).

The project adheres to strict fault-tolerance requirements and includes system design, implementation, staff training, hotline consultations and system maintenance.

The system

  • updates and modifies electronic reference data;
  • collects budgetary requests from subordinate organizations;
  • allows entering the account data in both automated and manual modes;
  • recalculates, totals and rounds the data automatically; and
  • automatically processes it in the given formats.

The work with electronic documents is based on .NTR technology.

TDO: information system for an endodontal electronic medical office

Client: DogBreath Software Inc. — a leading developer of software for endodontists in the US.

Description: TDO is a sophisticated software comprised of several modules that seamlessly integrate the following into an easy-to-install, user-friendly program:

  • financial and clinical data;
  • digital and scanned radiographs; and
  • photographic and video images.

Additional features:

  • All the clinical x-rays, still and video images, patient chart and diagnostic data, referral communications, emails and phone calls received/sent, are saved and accessed intuitively from TDO.
  • It facilitates comminication with
    • patients through the case presentation and education modules;
    • referring doctors through the custom reports and letter modules;
    • endodontic colleagues through TDO chat and discussion groups;
    • insurance companies through emails; and
    • internally through the interoffice email.
  • A state-of-the-art library of digital images needed to educate the patient.

Integrated phone management

Client: Alegratrans

Description: Developed a special call center application for handling reception business processes; this application allows to:

  • handle calls and faxes;
  • administer travel reservations;
  • create reminders for visa and passport support services and organization of VIP reception;
  • write text messages to foreign clients;
  • control staff;
  • write a diary of daily events to ensure process continuity.

Medical appointment scheduler

Client: AMSPlus, Inc.

Description: Developed to streamline medical office work and improve patient care service. The scheduler manages personnel and office resources, including tracking doctors’ schedules, exam room availability and equipment usage, and graphs resources deployment. The program includes, centralized dictionaries (e.g. City and Referring Physician), client-specific dictionaries (e.g., Provider, Type of Visit), resource scheduling module, reports module, etc. It shares resources (dictionaries and data) and is fully integrated with AMSPlus’ existing product line. Status: maintenance mode
