Plagiarism strikes the Russian Internet

Plagiarism is so rife on the Internet that http://www.ezhe.ru/hash was created specifically to expose the plagiarists and protect copyright and IP.

However, at the end of October, 2002 NTR took a direct hit after Anton Malkov, our COO, took part in the conference Theory and practice of company management in Kiev and delivered a paper on Cost Efficiency Estimation of Implementing an Automated CRM System. The report was published in the conference materials, and on our website. The value of the paper was such that it was it was republished multiple times with full attribution and links back to us.

However, in May, six months after the conference, we found Malkov’s verbatim report published under the name of Inessa Zaika on two sites, http://kiev.trainings.ru/articles/ and http://www.razvitie.com.ua/answer/11.htm.

We contacted the site administrators and the article was removed from one site and published with corrected attribution and links on the other.
