Russia’s leading internet portal Mail.ru became the first Russian web resource displaying geocontext ads. POIdo ads will be shown in Maps@Mail.ru, a mapping service providing data about road traffic in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other big Russian cities.

The new geocontext advertising service is a perfect fit for the mainstream business audience. POIdo ads are equally useful for both large companies with numerous locations and small businesses serving local clients, such as shops, cafes and car washes.

NTR Lab launched POIdo, the new advertising platform providing targeted ads using customers’ precise location, context and behavior in applications on mobile phones, portable navigation systems and internet site, launched today.

March 16, 2010. Moscow, Russia. POIdo (www.poido.ru), the first location-based advertising (LBA) service in Russia, successfully launched today. The platform is based on a patent-pending technology of Geocontext auctions: advertisers compete for ad lots, since a user sees only the most efficient ads on a given field.

POIdo is specifically designed to provide cost-effective, virtual advertising to small, local businesses. The user sees the ad message within the application in use when approaching a virtual billboard or as a result of searching for a nearby address. As a result, users accept the ads as a value-added free service instead of considering them spam.

October 28-30, 2009 Nick Mikhailovsky, CEO of NTR Group will represent the Tomsk business community at a presentation of the scientific, educational and innovative potential of Tomsk region this week in Graz, federal lands Vienna and Styria, Austria.

Delegates include NTR Group, as well as representatives of several Tomsk-area universities, scientific institutions, manufacturers and innovative companies.

Viktor Kress, governor of the Tomsk region, is heading the mission.

Nick is introducing innovative NTR products that are in development to the Austrian business community.

NTR Lab is pleased to announce that the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademarks has issued a Certificate of State Registration of a computer program “Web-Praktika: Policy Sales”.

The “Web-Praktika: Policy Sales” system was designed for insurance companies selling car insurance policies in remote sales sites (including partner companies). A Calculator Interface counting insurance conditions depending on various parameters was developed with options to save a rate, to issue a policy or to print additional documents (agreements, claims etc).

On March 14, NTR Lab became a Microsoft Certified Partner, an industry benchmark for software developers. It’s a major achievement of the company guaranteeing our technical expertise and adding a competitive edge.

In order to qualify, we

• supplied the required number of references; and
• completed special training and passed Microsoft-developed certification exams.

NTR developers now have the proven ability to deliver solutions featuring Microsoft products.

Ten NTR employees attended a Project management and its tools training class organized by Novosibirsk’s  Consulting and information system training center in conjunction with 1C-training center #1. The training provided our specialists with the knowledge and skills required to manage enterprise automation projects in accordance with currently accepted standards.

The training included both theory and practical tasks. It was conducted by Marina Grashina, partner and President of PSM Consulting Russia.

The training is internationally recognized and completion certificates count for 21 Professional Development Units (PDU) allowing participants to take Project Management Professional (PMP) exam.
