Description: Two data transmission applications were developed.

BTInfo
BTInfo application is intended for broadcasting images through Bluetooth: it obtains images available on the webservice, checks for suitable mobile phones in the vicinity, sends certain images, with informational/advertising purposes mainly, and then records the processed mobile phone numbers and images sent.
The functionality of BTInfo makes it possible to process simple instructions from Webservice, like “pause”, “resume”, etc. Besides, the application can operate in standalone mode (in case Webservice is inaccessible), in this case, it selects images stored in the settings.
BTInfo is of two types – on J2Me and on WinMobile to fit different mobile phone models.

BTTracker
BTTracker performs the function of monitoring availability of a Bluetooth device in the vicinity. The user is notified when it gets out of line of “sight”.
For broader applicability the program is available on J2me and WinMobile.
